The Shop
In October 2016, the Defend Vinyl record shop opened, selling the best in new & used indie, emo, punk, soul, hip-hop & classics.​
It's gathered attention as one of Liverpool's best independent record shops, and is home to in-store gigs, special sales and events, and a record cleaning service which is available to customers in-store.​

Online Store
The Online Store was created in response to the pandemic lockdowns, but it now sells to customers around all the world.
​
Here you can find all vinyl (LPs, 7inches, Box sets), as well as official Defend Vinyl merch and gift vouchers.

Record Label
In 2021, 'Defend Vinyl Records', the record label, was created to release our favourite artists from Liverpool and beyond. And all on our favourite format.

Record Fairs & DJ Events
We believe that great music deserves to be celebrated beyond our shop walls. That’s why we've taken our vinyl to Record Fairs and Comic Cons around Liverpool, and we've had the honor of spinning tracks at some incredible live events, including the unforgettable Smithdown Festival and special Black Cat events.
